Harold Lamoine Wilson, 80, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Thursday, September 30th, at Barren County Nursing and Rehab.
Harold was born in Fleming County, KY on July 23, 1941, a son of the late Rhoda (Orme) and Jesse Lamoine Wilson.
He was retired from the National Guard and Department of Military Affair & was a Deacon at Monroe Baptist Church.
On January 2, 1967, in Livingston, TN, he married Martha (Walden) Wilson, who survives, of Tompkinsville, KY.
Other than his wife he is survived by two daughters, Frances Denise Lapham, and husband Jonathan, of Glasgow, KY; LaDonna Rose Wilson, of Tompkinsville, KY; and
a son, John Lamoine Wilson, of Tompkinsville, KY; three grandchildren, John Cahill Wilson, Martha Cassady Wilson and Francis Day Jara.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Rhoda and Jesse Lamoine Wilson; twin brother, Howard Wilson; brother, Jim Wilson; and two sisters, Frances Carpenter and Rosemary Himes.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 4th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Burial to follow at Old Mt. Herman Cemtery with Military Rites performed by Glasgow DAV Chapter 20.
Visitation is Sunday, October 3, 5:00-8:00 PM, and Monday morning after 10:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Harold's memory may be made to Old Mt. Herman Cemetery.
