Greta Sue (Hale) Melton, 59, of Moss, TN passed away Saturday, November 16th, at her Residence.
Greta was born in Tompkinsville, KY on May 30, 1965, a daughter of Ida Demple (Bow) and Archie Hale, of Tompkinsville, KY, who survives. She worked at KY Apparel for many years and other garment factories in the area, she enjoyed making wreaths, cooking, tending to her flowers, and watching her humming birds & martins each season.
She married Stephen Melton June 16, 2018 at their home in Moss, TN.
Greta is survived by her husband, Stephen Melton of Moss, TN, two sons John, husband of Christen Page, of Salvisa, KY; Justin Tyler Rue, husband of MaKayla McMillian, of Tompkinsville, KY; step son,Jordan, husband of Cherese Melton, of Celina, TN; she is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Archie Page, Asher & Harlan McMillian & Harrison & Maverick Melton & her dog Sparky.
Greta is also survived by a sister, Loretta, wife of Mark Wheat, of Tompkinsville, KY.
a brother, Stevie, husband of Amy Hale, of Tompkinsville, KY and nieces & nephews & great, nieces & nephews.
Funeral Service will be held 1 PM on Tuesday, November 19th at Poplar Log Missionary Baptist Church in Tompkinsville, KY. Brother Eddie Wilson will officiate.
Visitation will be held 5 PM to 8 PM on Monday, November 18th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY and Visitation will be held 9 AM to 1 PM on Tuesday, November 19th at Poplar Log Missionary Baptist Church in Tompkinsville, KY.
Burial, Pitcock Cemetery Moss, TN.
Greta had requested for memorial donations be made to Poplar Log Missionary Baptist Church.
