Geraldine (Emberton) Dugard, 81, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 21st, at Monroe County Medical Center.
Geraldine was born in Tompkinsville, KY on October 12, 1942, a daughter of the late Virchia Susan (Walker) and Leonard Emberton.
She married Roy Dugard on January 8, 1972 in Celina, TN. Roy preceded her in death on July 26, 2016.
She worked at Keys for over 40 years and then later at Sapko. She attended Lyons Chapel Church of Christ.
Geraldine is survived by two daughters, Susan Palmore, and Jennifer Copas, both of Tompkinsville, KY; three grandchildren, Brandy Fleming, Gabbi Hagan and April Copas, and four great grandchildren, Kennedy, Claire, Saylor and Sawyer.
Geraldine is also survived by two sisters, Mary Emma Davis and Christine Bitner, both of Tompkinsville, KY; and three brothers, James Emberton, Donald Emberton and Paul Emberton, all of Tompkinsville, KY.
Other than her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Joletta Palmore and a brother, Elmore Emberton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Old Mt. Herman Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday, 4-8 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
