Ezra Allen Obituary
Ezra C. Allen, 92, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Tuesday, January 17th, at Overton County Health Care in Livingston, TN.
Ezra was born in Tompkinsville, KY on March 31, 1930, a son of the late Bessie (Sheffield) and Carlos Allen.
He proudly served in the Marines during the Korean War. He was self-employed as a professional trader. He is of the Baptist Faith.
On May 22, 1948, he married Dora Sewell Allen. Dora preceded him in death on November 1, 2020.
Ezra is survived by several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dora Allen, parents, Carlos and Bessie Allen, and all of his siblings, Clifton, Clarence, Jesse and Bill Allen, Irean Hayden, Doris Turner and Louise Emberton.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 19th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
Visitation is Thursday morning after 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
