Evert Roy Ford, 74, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, February 15th, at his home.
Evert was born in Tompkinsville, KY on February 28, 1949, a son of the late Lorene (Jones) and Richard Ford.
Evert married Betty Brooks on June 17, 1995 in Trousdale County, TN.
He worked for 31 years at Travis Oil as a Truck Driver.
Evert is survived by his wife, Betty Brooks Ford, of Tompkinsville, KY; three daughters, Lora Beth Ford, of Tompkinsville, KY; Melanie King, of Bowling Green, KY and Cynthia Starling, of Tompkinsville KY; and a son, Shawn Ford, of Gamaliel, KY; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Evert is also survived by two sisters, Sarah Bartley, of Summer Shade, KY; Audrey Ford, of Celina, TN. and two brothers, Danny Ford, of Moss, TN and Larry Ford, of Celina, TN.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Roy Nicholas Ford and one brother, Tim Ford.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 18th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Mt. Poland Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday, 4-8 p.m., and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
