Ernest Maxey Obituary
Ernest Maxey, 71, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Sunday, March 13th, at his home.
Ernest was born in Tompkinsville, KY on December 25, 1950, a son of the late Nellie (Sims) and Raymond Maxey.
Ernest is survived by his wife, Kathy (Holman) Maxey, of Tompkinsville, KY; a daughter, Chandra Maxey Lane, of Bowling Green, KY; and a son, Kelly Maxey, and wife, Mary of Glasgow, KY; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Ernest is also survived by a sister, Katherine Graves, of Tompkinsville, KY.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Sherhonda Lavelle Maxey; four brothers, Frank, Mitchell Reed, Earl and Arthur Ray Shirley; and six sisters, Enna Washington, Mary Anders, Alene Tooley, Clarene Kirk, Sue Shirley and Anna Hamilton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 19th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY with burial to follow at Mt. Nebo Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday morning after 10:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
