Elese (Harris) Harrison

Elese Harris Harrison, 75, of Gamaliel, KY, passed away Thursday, April 3rd, at Monroe County Medical Center.

Elese was born in Monroe County, KY on August 14, 1949, a daughter of the late Lillie Mae (Stacy) and Charlie Clay Harris.

She worked at Stitches in Red Boiling Springs for 30 years. She attended church at Ebenezer and Oak Hill. 

On March 14, 1981, she married Leland Carol Harrison in Celina, TN. Leland preceded her in death on November 4, 2003.

Elese is survived by two sisters, Helen Emberton, of Mt. Herman, KY and Wanda  Bowe, of Tennessee, and her cat, Little Bit; several nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents and husbands, she is preceded in death by brothers, Herman & Gene Harris, and sisters, Bessie Loyd, Edna Ferguson and Lizza Bennett

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 7th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery. Brother Gary Emberton will officiate.

Visitation is Sunday, 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Monday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Elese's memory may be made to Ebenezer Cemetery.
