Eleanor (Robertson) Dumont

Eleanor Robertson Dumont, 80, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away at home on Friday, January 26, 2024.

Eleanor was born in Shrewsbury, England in December, 1943 and emigrated to the United States in 1968.

She met and married her husband of 51 years, Norman Dumont, in New Hampshire where they lived for 46 years before moving to Kentucky in 2018. 

Eleanor was a certified Master Gardener who worked for the Manchester Country Club and private clients for many years. Upon relocating to Tompkinsville, she joined the local garden club and hosted a number of meetings. 

Eleanor loved her family, friends, gardening and reading. She is survived by her husband, Norman Dumont; daughter Heidi Hassan of Savannah, GA and son, James Dumont of Lyndeborough, NH.

Following Eleanor's wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services held. 

A celebration of life will be held at her home on Wednesday, January 31, from 2PM - 4PM.
