Eddie Neal Copas, 61, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Wednesday, February 22nd, at his home.
Eddie was born in Tompkinsville, KY on August 1, 1961, a son of the late Francis (Bushong) and Marlin Copas.
Eddie was the owner of Copas Pumping, he was a farmer, and proudly served in the 623rd National Guard for 24 years.
On December 6, 1997, he was united in marriage to Donna Grenead at the Nobob Sportsman Club.
Other than his wife of 25 years, Donna Copas, he is survived by a special daughter, Casey Collins, and her husband, Patrick, two special grandchildren, Weston and Lane Collins; two sisters, Sharon Williams and husband, Tommy, and Karen Copas; and eight brothers, Jackie, Kenny, Jerry and wife, Leoma, Gary, Greg and his wife, Chuin, Terry, Tony and wife, Carol, and Kelly Copas, and sister-in-law, Jackie Sue Copas, and several nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Kaye Copas, and brother, Mark Copas.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Burial will follow at White Cemetery, with military rites performed by Glasgow DAV Chapter 20.
Visitation is Thursday, 4-8 p.m, and Friday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m., at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Eddie's memory may be made to Mud Lick Volunteer Fire Department.
