Dennis Michael Witty, 64, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Monday, July 22nd, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Dennis was born in Tompkinsville, KY on June 14, 1960, a son of the late Inus Helen (Hood) and Clell Void Witty.
He was a 1979 graduate of Tompkinsville High School, had worked construction for many years and was currently employed at APACE in Fountain Run, KY, his most enjoyment was watching his grandchildren racing and taking them fishing. He had attended Tompkinsville 1st Baptist Church.
Dennis is survived by three sons Scotty, husband of Sarah Witty, of Martinsville, IN; Trevor Witty, of Tompkinsville, KY; Taylor Witty, of Tompkinsville, KY;
is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, Macy Jo, William, Waylon, Wren, Wrangler, Remington & Rayliegh Brook Witty, four sisters, Sue Turner, of Tompkinsville, KY; Hilda, wife of John Walden, of Glasgow, KY; Teresa, wife of Julius Myatt, of Temple Hill, KY; Sherry, wife of Mike Hassell, of Tompkinsville, KY; three brothers, Greg, husband of June Witty, of Tompkinsville, KY; Jeff, husband of Terri Witty, of Tompkinsville, KY; Garland, husband of Dottie Witty, of Indianapolis, IN; and brother-in-law, Fred "Big Boy" Billingsley of Indianapolis, IN.
His Parents and sisters, Betty (Witty) Cain and Elizabeth Ann Billingsley preceded him in death.
Funeral Service will be held 11 AM on Friday, July 26th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. brother Gary Emberton will officiate.
Visitation will be held 4 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, July 25th and 8 AM to 11 AM on Friday, July 26th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY.
Burial Skaggs Creek Cemetery, Tompkinsville, KY. Wrangler, Remington and Taylor Witty served as honorary pallbearers. William, Waylon, Daniel and Matt Witty, Craig Billingsley and Jason Walden served as pallbearers.
