David Ray Prichard

David Ray Prichard, 78, of Hestand, KY passed away Tuesday, December 16th, 2025 at his home. David was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 21, 1947, a son of the late Loradean (Cassetty) and Orby E Prichard.

David married his wife, Ginger (Slaughter) Prichard, on January 20, 1977 in Indianapolis, IN. 

David served his country in the U.S Marines and was a proud veteran. David made a career as a tool and die machinist at Allison and General Motors Companies for 30 plus years before he retired. He was a member of the UAW. 

Along with his wife, David is survived by a daughter, Nicole Dawn Prichard, of Phoenix, AZ, a son, David Ray Prichard ll, of Clarksville, TN, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. David is also survived by two brothers, Doug Cassetty Prichard, of Brownsburg, IN and Orby Gene Prichard, of Paragon, IN. 

Along with his parents, David is preceded in death by two brothers, Scott and Randy Prichard. 

Fulfilling David's wishes, cremation has been chosen as his final disposition.
