David Mitchell Odle

David Mitchell Odle, 73, of  Hestand, KY passed away Thursday, January 11th, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.

David was born in Tompkinsville, KY on August 22, 1950, a son of the late Desta (Shaw) and Lushen  Odle.

David was a self-employed Dry Wall Contractor. He enjoyed woodworking, playing pool, and just working in general. He was one of the best dry wall contractors in the county. 

David is  survived by a daughter, Lanora Pittman (Chris Tuck), of Lafayette, TN;  a son, Scottie Odle, of Hestand, KY;  ex-wife, Loretta Odle, of Sparta, TN.
 
David is also survived by six sisters, Margie Browning, of Acworth, GA;  MaryAnn Survance, of Indianapolis, IN;  Sara Barrow, of Marietta, GA;  Maggie Hutcheson, of Indianapolis, IN;  Maxine Wright, of Marietta, GA;  Marcella Odle, of Loganville, GA. 

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Alice Brown; and four brothers, Earl, Ralph, Edley and Riley Odle.
 
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Bailey Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday, 5-8 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
