Darrell Wayne Ford, 67, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Friday, February 26th, at Monroe County Medical Center.
Darrell was born in Monroe County, KY on October 18, 1953, a son of the late Clarice (Frazier) Arnett and Issac Kimble Ford.
On September 5, 1972, he married Debbi Sue (Cobb) Ford. Debbi preceded him in death on May 30, 2003.
He was retired from working in law enforcement for 35 years.
Darrell is survived by a daughter, Andria Bennett, and husband, Robert, and a son, Jeff Ford, and wife, Greta, all of Tompkinsville, KY; 5 grandchildren, Ethan Ford (Leann Dart), Malachi Graves, Mataya Bennett, Kiara Williamson (Matt Painter) and Kyeshia Williamson and was expecting his first great grandchild.
Darrell is also survived by two sisters, Alyne Strode, of Tompkinsville, KY; Faye Fuqua of Powell, TN; two brothers, Dale "Frog" Ford, of Tompkinsville, KY; William Arnett, of Louisville, KY.
He is preceded in death by brothers, Rudolph, Dennis, Denver, H.C. and Joe Edd Ford, Glen and Jerry Arnett; sisters, Bernice Keller, Margie Geiger, Nina Lois Ford, Lorraine Yegelwel, Barbara Bray, Clorene Ford, and Wilma Dean Arnett.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 12 noon at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Mt. Poland Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday, 3-8 P.M. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, and Monday, after 8:00 AM until service time at 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers donations in Darrell's memory would be appreciated for funeral expenses.
For the protection of Mr. Ford's family, it is kindly asked for anyone coming to the services to abide by Governor Beshears recommendation of wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. Due to state mandates our lounge is closed.
