Clovis Anthony Jobe, 74, of Indianapolis, IN and formerly of Monroe County, KY, passed away Monday, December 11th, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis, IN.
Clovis was born in Tompkinsville, KY on June 19, 1949, a son of the late Minnie Bell (Rhoton) and Buford Jobe.
On November 26, 1976, he married Sharon Muse in Celina, TN.
Clovis worked in construction, being a member of Local 120. He also worked at Poindexter excavating. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Clovis is survived by his wife, Sharon Jobe and a daughter, Jacqueline Jobe, both of Indianapolis, IN; two grandchildren, Jaylun and Jocelyn Stewart.
Clovis is also survived by three sisters, Kate Devary, of Versailles, KY; Minnie Jones, of Tompkinsville, KY; Jennie Beasley, of Tompkinsville, KY.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by six brothers, Cledus, Jackie Ned, Huston, Jehovah, Donald Lee and Bobby Dean Jobe, and three sisters, Mary Doyle Denton, Jo Nell Turner and Lela Ford.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 15th at 2:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, burial to follow at Hammer Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday morning after 9:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
