Carolyn Isenberg Cornwell, 74, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Friday, February 11th, at Signature Health Care of Monroe County.
Carolyn was born in Monroe County, KY on January 27, 1948, a daughter of the late Angie (Dickerson) and Lee Isenberg.
On December 27, 1965, she married Ted Cornwell, who precedes her in death.
She worked at Beldon for 10 years and then as a cook at Joe Harrison Carter Elementary School for 15 years. Carolyn was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of Christ.
Carolyn is survived by a daughter, Angie Cornwell; a son, Bobby Cornwell, and one granddaughter, Kaitlynn Cornwell, all of Tompkinsville, KY.
Carolyn is also survived by a brother, Ulysses "Chip" Isenberg, of Tompkinsville, KY.
Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Revis Isenberg.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 14th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Burial to follow at Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday, 5-8 PM, and Monday after 8:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carolyn's memory may be made to Isenberg Cemetery or Pleasant Hill Church of Christ.
