Carlos Burnett

 

Abe Carlos Burnett, 91, of Fountain Run, KY, passed away Thursday, February 17th, at his home.

 

Carlos was born in Monroe County, KY on April 28, 1930, a son of the late Annie (Ryherd) and Ike Burnett.

 

On August 31, 1950, he married Banna Rowland in Glasgow, KY.

 

Carlos was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Bethlehem Church.

 

Carlos is survived by his wife of 71 years, Banna Burnett; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Debbie Burnett and Marc and Melissa Burnett, all of Fountain Run, KY;  grandchildren, Nicholas Burnett and wife, Taryn, Matthew Burnett and wife, Valerie, Stephen Burnett and wife MaKayla, Mariah Burnett and step-granddaughter Rachel Walbert; and three great grandchildren, Iris, Kinleigh, and Ezra.

 

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Clarence, Ado, Ray and Earl Burnett and one sister, Mary Edna Olgine.

 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 21st at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow in Neal Cemetery.

 

Visitation is Sunday, 3-8 PM, and Monday, 8 AM until service time at 1 PM at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Carlos' memory may be made to Bethlehem Church.
