Brenda Green

Brenda Jean Green, 75, of Austin, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 9th, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.

Brenda was born in Indianapolis, Ind. on September 27, 1947, a daughter of the late Elizabeth  (Crawford) and Denton Hazel Keys.

Brenda worked at Sewing Factories in the Holland and Fountain Run areas and was a homemaker. She was Baptist faith.

She married Henry Green in Celina, TN on April 3, 1964.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Henry Green, of Austin, KY; two daughters, Cathy  Peterson, of Austin, KY;  Nancy Green, of Glasgow, KY; four grandchildren, Katie Nelson, John Green, Justin Green and ReBecca Green; four great grandchildren, Landan Green, Logan Green, Brooks Nelson and Kori Nelson. 

Brenda is also survived by two sisters, Charlotte Cherry, of Red Boiling Springs, TN and Mary  Keys, of Nashville, TN. 

She is preceded in death by a brother, Rick Keys and a sister, Rosemary Green.
 
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 12th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at White Oak Cemetery. 

Visitation is Friday, 5:30-8:00 p.m., and Saturday morning after 8:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Brenda's memory may be made to White Oak Cemetery.
