Bobby Sympson Joines (86), passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday May 29 at Signature Healthcare of Glasgow.
Bobby was born on July 23rd, 1939, to the late Aubrey and Jennavee Sympson Joines.
Bobby was a 1959 graduate of Tompkinsville High School. Bobby served in the Kentucky National Guard. He was a Charter member of the Monroe County Rescue Squad. Bobby served Monroe County, including the Tompkinsville Police Department, Monroe County Constable for 12 years and as an EMT with the ambulance service at the Monroe County War Memorial Hospital. He Owned Grandview Studio and Joines Sandblasting before retiring. Bobby loved telling stories and always telling jokes to make others laugh. He also loved the outdoors and riding the old gravel roads of Monroe County. Bobby was a member of the Germany Church of Christ
Mr. Joines is survived by a son Ken Joines and wife Sarah of Wisdom, his wife Genell Joines. He is also survived by his grandchildren Tylor Joines, Kinsley Joines, Salyssa Shoopman, Connor Spears and Jazmine Drury. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren Atlas Martin and Willow Joines.
Bobby was proceeded in death by 3 brothers, Leon Joines, Joe T. Joines and Kenneth Joines.
The family has chosen cremation with a Memorial service to be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Monroe Co Memorial Lawn. Alternate expressions of sympathy can be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. Yokley Trible Funeral Homes is in charge to arrangements
