Billy Joe Sheffield Obituary
Billy Joe Sheffield, 67, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Monday, May 3rd, at Monroe County Medical Center.
Billy Joe was born in Tompkinsville, KY on July 7, 1953, a son of the late Elva Mae (High) and William C. "Billy" Sheffield.
On December 18, 1980, he married Patricia Murray in Celina, TN.
He was of Baptist Faith. He worked as a farmer for many years.
Billy Joe is survived by his wife, Patricia Sheffield; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Beth Williams and Joshua, Kellie Combs and Casey, and Carrie McClendon, and Jonathan, all of Tompkinsville, KY; a son and daughter-in-law, Matthew Sheffield and Molly, of the Lamb community; and 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 6th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
Visitation is Wednesday, May 5, 4-8 PM, and Thursday, after 9:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Billy Joe's memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
For the protection of Mr. Sheffield's family it is kindly asked for anyone coming to the services to abide by Governor Beshear's recommendation of wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. No public lounge is available at this time due to Covid-19.
