Billy "Goose" Hammer, 54, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Wednesday, August 16th, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.
"Goose" was born in Tompkinsville, KY on September 19, 1968, a son of the late Eva Hammer.
Goose was known for riding his bicycle for many years through the streets of Tompkinsville. Goose loved babies and children, had a collection of fidget spinners and hats, enjoyed wearing Kentucky Wildcats shirts, and was always ready for chili, no matter the weather.
"Goose" is survived by a sister, Wanda Henson, of Tompkinsville, KY; and a brother, Jerry Hammer of Bowling Green, KY; several nieces, nephews and extended family survive.
Other than his mother, Eva Hammer, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard Jack Hammer and Bobby Hammer.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 26th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Mt. Poland Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday, 2-8 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Goose's memory may be made for funeral expenses.
