Betty Jean England, 90, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Wednesday, January 3rd, peacefully, at Signature HC of Monroe County.
Betty was born in Tompkinsville, KY on April 7, 1933, a daughter of the late Maude (Moore) and James Floyd Walden. She married Burnis England January 14, 1950, he preceded her in death March 13, 2005. Betty worked at Key Industries for 33 years, was a great homemaker, loved her flowers and doing word search. She attended the Tompkinsville Methodist Church.
Betty is survived by
a daughter, Cheri, wife of Clark Cropper, of Cookeville, TN;
a son,Larry England, of Tompkinsville, KY; is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Mason & Grace Cropper.
Betty is also survived by a sister, Carolyn Brown, of Elizabethtown, KY.
Her parents, James & Maude Walden, husband, Burnis England & brother, James T. Walden preceded her in death.
Funeral Service will be held 11 AM on Friday, January 5th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Lewis Hestand will officiate.
Visitation will be held 3 PM to 6 PM on Thursday, January 4th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY & 8 AM to 11 AM on Friday, January 5th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY.
Burial Monroe County Memorial Lawn, Tompkinsville KY.
