Betty Lucille Blythe, 83, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Friday, February 9th, at Signature Healthcare of Glasgow.
Betty was born in Monroe County, Kentucky on February 13, 1940, a daughter of the late Ethel (Strode) and Grady Milton Lane.
She was married to Granville Blythe, who preceded her in death.
Betty was retired from three different sewing factories, Red Kap, Haywood, and Kentucky Apparel, after many years of dedicated service. She thoroughly enjoyed gardening and working in her yard in her free time.
Betty is survived by sons, Danny Blythe, of Glasgow, Tony Blythe of Gamaliel, and Bobby Lane of Tompkinsville; one granddaughter, Amber Blythe, of Gamaliel; one sister, Eva Mae Harrison, of Glasgow.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ishmael Lane; and one sister, Clarene Crawford.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M on Tuesday, February 13 at Yokley -Trible Funeral Home with John Osgatharp officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplar Log Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, 4-8p.m. and Tuesday, after 8a.m until service time at 11:00a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
