Bertha Mae Biggerstaff, 73, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, February 12th, at Signature HC of Monroe County.
Mae was born in Tompkinsville, KY on August 28, 1952, a daughter of the late Alene (Shaw) and Edgar Blythe.
Mae married George Biggerstaff July 5, 1969, he preceded her in death March 26, 2023. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, she worked at Key's for many years and she and George cooked and operated 4th Street Cafe for many years before retiring.
Mae is survived by a son, Ronnie Biggerstaff, 1 grandchild, Vidalia Beaty and husband John & great-grandchild, Emily Elizabeth, two sisters, Wanda Biggerstaff and Patricia Evans, three brothers, Don, husband of Martha Blythe, Jimmy Blythe and Johnny Blythe, all of Tompkinsville, KY.
Her parents, Edgar & Alene Blythe, husband, George Biggerstaff & grand-daughter, Rosa Leeann Biggerstaff & brothers-in-law, John Biggerstaff & Rocky Evans preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be 12 noon, Friday 13th at White Cemetery, with burial to follow.
Roger Warren will officiate the service.
Family request memorial donations to help with funeral expenses.
No visitation will be held at the funeral home.
