Beatrice Walden Spears, 73, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 6th, at Medical Center at Bowling Green.
Beatrice was born in Glasgow, KY on April 29, 1952, a daughter of the late Ruphene (Botts) and Roy Howard Walden.
After graduating high school, Beatrice went to cosmetology school and worked as a beautician. She was of the Baptist faith.
On March 21, 1976, she married Jim Spears at Skaggs Creek Baptist Church.
Beatrice is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jim Spears, of Tompkinsville, KY; son, Dewayne Spears (Emily), of Glasgow, KY; two grandchildren, Treten Spears and Dakota Gass
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Benny and Bobby Walden and Sandra Poynter.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 9th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Bro. Joe Botts will officiate the service.
Visitation is Friday, 10:00 a.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home
