Beatrice O (Strode) Emberton

Beatrice O Emberton, 91, of  Tompkinsville, KY passed away Tuesday, October 24th, while in the company of family, at her residence. 

Beatrice was born in Tompkinsville, KY on March 23, 1932, a daughter of the late Pearl Cornwell (Cavanaugh) and Esta Strode.

She married Amos Eagle Emberton, November 8, 1952. She worked at Red Kap, Monroe County War Memorial Hospital, Nursing Home, was a wonderful wife & mother and was a member at Tompkinsville First Baptist Church. 

Beatrice is  survived by two daughters, Patricia, wife of  Ricky Jackson, of Tompkinsville, KY; Pam, wife of  Ronnie Butler, of Tompkinsville, KY. a son,Paul, husband of Sandra Emberton, of Lucas, KY; she is also survived by 7 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren.

Her parents, Esta & Pearl, husband, Eagle, brother, Claude Strode, 1/2 brother, Charles Strode, step brother, Carlie Short & 1 grandson preceded her in death.

Funeral Service will be held 1 PM on Friday, October 27th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY. Her family will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held 4 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, October 26th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY and 9 AM to 1 PM on Friday, October 27th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY.

Burial, Monroe County Memorial Lawn, Tompkinsville, KY.
