Joe Mackey Glass, 78, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Monday, January 13th, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Joe Mackey was born in Tompkinsville, KY on July 4, 1941, a son of the late Eva (Dickerson) and Herschel Glass.

On June 1, 1963, he married Rachel Wilson in Tompkinsville, KY.

Joe Mackey graduated from Western Kentucky University. He was an Agronomist.

Joe Mackey is survived by his wife, Rachel Wilson Glass, of Tompkinsville, KY;

two sons, Trevor Glass, and wife, Kelly, of Tompkinsville, KY; and Colin Glass, and wife, Whitney, of Louisville, KY; three grandchildren, Tyler, Tucker, and Kip Glass.

Other than his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Ann Glass.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 16th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home with Neal Mathis officiating.

Visitation is Wednesday, January 15, 2020, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, and Thursday after 6:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M.

Burial is in Mt. Gilead Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Tompkinsville Church of Christ.

We are so saddened to hear of Joe’s passing. It has been quite a few years since we were raising our families on Chowning and working together at Skipwith, making all those wonderful memories, but the years will never take away the fondness we feel for your family.
