 Ronal Clay Owen

 Ronal Clay "Papa" Owen, of Tompkinsville, KY went to be with the Heavenly Father on August 9, 2015. He was proceeded in death by his, wife Chloe Dean Hammer Owen after 57 years of marriage.

He was born September 29, 1930 in Macon Co. TN to Wilmer and Chloe Hale Owen, who preceded him in death. He was 84 years old.

He is survived by one son, Wendell Owen, of Tompkinsville, 3 grandchildren; Lorie Estes and husband Adam of Hart County, Lesa Owen and friend Kris Denton and Logan Owen all of Tompkinsville. Two great-grandsons; Matthew and Eli Estes both of Hart Co. A sister, Doris Baker, and husband Jay of Three Rivers, Michigan. Three nephews; Ricky Russell and wife Kim, Bobby Russell and wife Janice of Tompkinsville, Tim Owen and wife Caren of Louisiana. Three nieces; Patricia Isenberg and husband Toddy of Louisville, Renee Arrington and her husband Michael of Texas, Judy White of  Illinois. He is survived by a number of great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by 2 very special people to him Cathey Owen and Mark Coulter of Tompkinsville.
He was also proceeded in death in addition to his parents and wife by one infant grandson, 2 brothers; Carol Owen and Windel Owen.

Ronal was a member of Gulley Creek Missionary Baptist Church since 1948 where joined by experience and baptism. He served as a Deacon, and also served as Sunday School Superintendent and Sunday School Teacher.

Ronal was owner and operator of Owen's Paint and Body Shop for over 40 years. He was a gun and knife smith and was one the first Case Knife independent knife repair center given the repair center in the 1960's.

He served his country in the Military with the U.S. Army during the Korea War.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, 510 W. 4th Street, Tompkinsville, KY.

Visitation is Wednesday 2:00-8:00 P.M. and Thursday 6:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.

Burial is in Ebenezer Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Ebenezer Cemetery or Gulley Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
