Betty Carol Geralds Kerr, 73, of Greenfield, IN, formerly of Monroe County, KY, passed away on Feb. 24, 2016 in Indianapolis. She was born May 24, 1942, to Travis Geralds and Nell (Ross) Geralds. She later met and married James "Chester" Kerr and they had been married for fifty-two years before her passing. After receiving her high school diploma, she was later employed at Lucent Technologies as a Supervisor until the time of her retirement. Betty enjoyed gardening, playing online on Facebook, as well as cooking for her friends and family. She was especially known for her family's favorite dishes of spaghetti, roasts, and mashed potatoes.

In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by her son, Bradley Ross (Anita) Kerr of McCordsville, IN; a daughter, Melonie Carol (Roger) Hunter of Huntingburg, IN; granddaughter, Dawn Marie (Bryan) Bonnell of Carmel, IN; grandson, Christopher Michael Kerr of McCordsville, IN; grandson, Logan Fox Hunter of Huntingburg, IN; sister Virginia Brown; sister, Nancy (David) Hagan; sister, Karen Smith; as well as her half-brother, Terry Tooley, and sister-in-law Margaret Geralds all of Tompkinsville, KY.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Geralds; brother, Jimmy Ross Geralds; and step-mother, Katherine Geralds.

Visitation for Betty will be 4:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at Hendryx Morthuary, Cumberland Chapel, 11636 East Washington St., Indianapolis, IN, 46229. Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m., with funeral services following at 2:00 P.M. conducted by John Osgatharp, at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, 510 W. 4th Street, Tompkinsville, KY, 42167. Burial in Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
