Wilton Ray King

Wilton Ray King, 75, of Glasgow, KY formally of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Sunday, April 20th, at T. J. Sampson Community Hospital.

Wilton was born in Tompkinsville, KY on November 20, 1938, a son of the late Pearl (Lyons) and Cordell King.

He was a member of Berea Church of Christ.

He was retired from the military after serving for 30 years.

Wilton is survived by a daughter, Ramona Gayle McKinney, of Elizabethtown, KY;
a son,Bryan King, of Glasgow, KY; 2 grandchildren.

Wilton is also survived by two sisters, Wanda Turner, of Tompkinsville, KY; Wilma Dean Chapman, of Gamaliel, KY. and a brother, Wayne King, of Tompkinsville, KY;

He is also preceded in death by two brothers; Ralph and Randall King.


Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Yokley Trible Funeral Home with Bro. John Osgatharp officiating.

Visitation is Tuesday from 3:00-9:00 P.M. and Wednesday 6:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.

Burial is in Monroe County Memorial Lawn.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to American Diabetes Association.

Sorry for your loss. I served with Wilton in the full time maintenance program for the KY Army Guard. Wilton was an excellent maintenance shop foreman and provided outstanding service to his customers units.
